  Attention of all interested parties is invited to the Notification issued on 15^th April, 2009 in the case of Safeguard investigation concerning imports of Acrylic Fibre-Preliminary Findings published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary Part II- Section 3-Sub-section i { GSR No. 252(E) dated 15.04.2009 }

  In this Notification on Page 14 in Para xiv- Conclusion and Recommendation the following should be added at the end of the para:

In other words, the minimum safeguard duty recommended is 20 %. However, wherever anti dumping duty is or would be applicable, safeguard duty will be the difference of 20% and the applicable anti dumping duty. Further, wherever applicable antidumping duty is or would be more than safeguard duty, no safeguard duty shall be levied.
